Dalen L. Tobey's Obituary
Mr. Dalen L. Tobey, age 85, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 14, 2022. He was born on June 22, 1936 to Claude Tobey and Gladys (Mead) Tobey in Muskegon. A lifelong resident of the area, Dalen married the former Linda Lawton on September 7, 1957 and she survives him. Dalen was a dedicated worker at Brunswick for 41 years as a millwright. He enjoyed cooking delicious meals and desserts (especially his well-known banana bread) for his friends and family and loved riding around on his Harley on beautiful sunny days. Most importantly, Dalen loved being a dad and grandpa. He adored his grandchildren and cherished the time he was able to spend with them. Dalen will be missed by his wife of 64 years, Linda; son, Craig Tobey; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sisters, Glory Brown and Kay Tobey. He was preceded in death by his son, Dalen Lee Tobey; daughter-in-law, Annette Tobey; parents; sister, Doreen Pritchard; and brothers, Sydney Brannam, Wyant Brannam, and Nihl Brannam.
