I remember Mr. Mustard (all though he told me not to call him that, I always did out of respect) from my years at Fellowship Church. His signature mustache and smile made him easy to spot from choir loft. His smile would help calm my nerves and make it easier to sing in front of everyone. From time to time he would talk to me before or after service. He always expressed well wishes before youth mission trips. His presence and kindness helped make Fellowship feel like home.
I do have several that Uncle Dallas and I teamed up to help Leighton, butchering pheasants, hauling cement chunks out of pole barn are just a few.
Then he would treat me to homemade- canned Mincemeat, he made the best. And I would make him fruit jam in exchange.
He was definitely one of a kind and I will miss him.
With love
Margie
