Damarreo James Wyrick's Obituary
Mr. Damarreo James Wyrick, age 31, of Muskegon passed away unexpectedly Friday, June 11, 2021. He was born May 21, 1990, in Muskegon to Karla Dodson and Glen Wyrick Sr.
Damarreo grew up in Muskegon and graduated from Muskegon High School in 2008. He was a proud member of the 2007 Muskegon High School Football State Championship team. Damarreo enjoyed tubing, playing football, basketball, and spending time with family and friends. He was employed by Tyson Foods in Zeeland, MI.
He is survived by his five children: Damarreo Jr, Darrion, Davion, Da’Marrius and De’Lontae all of Muskegon; parents, Karla Dodson, and Glen Wyrick; brother; Glen Wyrick Jr; stepbrother, Lakym Copeland; stepsister, Lakimberly Copeland, and special friend Dallas Ford of Muskegon; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Damarreo was preceded in death by material grandparents James and Helen Dodson, paternal grandparents Willie James and Elnora Piggee, his aunt Gloria Wilkerson and his son Davon Dodson.
A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 12:00 PM on Monday June 21, 2021, at Angel Community Church, (446 Ada Ave, Muskegon, MI 49442) with Pastor Jeffrey Hough, officiating. A VISITATION will be held 3-5 PM Saturday June 19, 2021, at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 737 E. Apple Ave, Muskegon, MI 49442.
