Dan Stanley Kotlewski's Obituary
Dan Stanley Kotlewski, age 74, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2022. He was born on February 4, 1948, to Stanley and Goldie (Knudson) Kotlewski in Muskegon. Dan worked as a foreman at Howmet for 25 years until his retirement in 1999, and then went on to work in maintenance for Wesco until his full retirement in 2013. Dan was a gearhead who enjoyed working on classic cars, attending car shows, and was a member of the Sun Coast Cruisers. He loved spending time with his friends at weekly Wednesday night garage parties, early morning breakfasts, or just going on a road trip. Dan is survived by his son, Kevin (Dianne) Kotlewski; siblings, Sam (Nancy) Kotlewski, Louise Mosley, Janice (Tom) Smith; nieces and nephews, Ryan (Shay) Mosley, Anthony Mosley, Shane (Lisa) Kotlewski, Rachel (Travis) Payne; best friends, Terry Fauble, Craig Reeds and his family; and special friend, Melissa Carpenter. He was preceded in death by his parents, and nephew, Joshua Mosley. No services will be taking place at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dan’s name can be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements entrusted to The Lee Chapel of The Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S.
