Mr. Dana Michael Lee's Obituary
Mr. Dana Michael Lee, age 57, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior after a long and hard fight with pancreatic cancer on Sunday, January 20, 2019. “I have fought the good fight, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness” Timothy 4:7-8. Dana was born on December 1, 1961 in Muskegon to Virgil and Patty (Skocelas) Lee. Dana married the love of his life Laurie Lyn Taylor on May 3, 1986. He took pride in his work at Grand Haven Stamp Products for 31 years as a Tool and Die Engineer. He attended Olivet Evangelical Free Church. Dana had a servant's heart and was always willing to give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need. He had a gentle and quiet spirit and whole heartedly loved the Lord. Dana lived his life without the fear of death and is finally where he lived his life so gracefully to get to. Dana’s greatest desire was to have his family and friends know the joy that he had through his faith in Christ. He was also very devoted to his family and friends and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them, reading the Bible, supporting his children at sporting events, and riding his motorcycle. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 33 years, Laurie; their three kids, Brittany (Kyler) Carmean, Brandon, Cassie and his pride and joy grandson Westin Lee Carmean, his father, Virgil (Shirley) Lee; his many siblings, Gordie (Linda) Lee, Alan (Chris) Lee, Linda (Paul) Schultz, Dale (Lisa) Lee, Laura (Bryan) Carmean, and David (Monica) Lee; his in-laws Laura Ann Lee, Jackie Taylor, Mark (Cecilia) Taylor, Mike Taylor; and many nieces and nephews and their families. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patty (Skocelas) Lee, Father in- law Dan Taylor, and brother Mark Lee. VISITATION will be from 5-8 PM Thursday at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100. SERVICES will be 1:00 PM Friday, January 25, 2019, with visitation one hour prior at Olivet Evangelical Free Church 6790 Harvey Rd., Spring Lake, MI with Pastor Craig Cramblet officiating. Burial will be in Fruitport Cemetery. Sign the guestbook online at www.sytsemafh.com
