Daniel Allen Barker's Obituary
Mr. Daniel Allen Barker passed away Friday, June 6, 2025, at his home. He was born in Muskegon, MI, on August 19, 1954, to LeRoy and Helen (Diepen) Barker. He was preceded in death by many loved ones, including his parents, brothers, and his dear daughter Jaime. He is survived by his daughters, Ashley Barker and Jessie (Jeremy) Cook, multiple grandchildren, and many loved family members and friends. Dan, as his family and friends called him, had a passion for being bad to the bone. Rock-n-roll, Harley-Davidson bikes, vinyl records, and a cold one in his hand made his heart full. He would fill every room with laughter due to his sarcasm and sense of humor. His daughters became fluent in sarcasm at an early age thanks to him. His legacy may not be large and filled with accolades, but everyone who encountered him knew what laughter was by the time their visit was over. In lieu of a memorial, a celebration of life will occur on Sunday, June 22nd, 2025, at the 46 Bar (3015 E. Apple Ave. Muskegon MI 49442) from 2-5 PM. All are welcome to come have one last “cold one” with Dan.
