Daniel George Bassett's Obituary
Daniel G. Bassett, age 76, passed away October 4, 2024, in Muskegon, Michigan. Daniel was born on June 18, 1948, in Muskegon, Michigan, to Elmer and Vernetta (Beckermyer) Bassett. He enjoyed camping, sports, swimming, outdoor events, participating in yoga but most of all he was known for his interest in history and genealogy. He had many supportive friends from the Grand Rapids area. Daniel is survived by his sister: Marie (Tom) Shunta; stepbrothers and stepsisters: Don (Deb) Rinehart, Rick (Sue) Rinehart, Sandy Goodrich, and Sue Rinehart Coons; special cousin: Yvonne Petersen and many nieces and nephews. Daniel is preceded in death by his parents: Elmer and Vernetta Bassett; and brother-in-law: George Goodrich; step brother-in-law: Ray Coons.
