My condolences to the family. I worked with Dan at 1st Presbyterian Church in 2008-2009. I found him to be a hard worker and easy to get along with. I'm sorry he has passed away at a young age. He will be missed. Allen Winslow

I have to say, you are a man of many accomplishments. I knew you for a short part of your life but you left a positive mark. You took each of your children and gave them each the attention they needed. You supported your family in more ways than most, especially that wife of yours! Every memory i have of you is definitely a good one (even when we had to deal with the kids) You will be missed. Heaven is very lucky to have you!! Thinking of you and your family during this hard time. God Bless
I’ve know Dan for a very long time and even though we didn’t see much of each other for some time, I always enjoyed those rare occasions when I ran into him.
His imprint is all over my home. He redid my kitchen, built supports for my hot tub, and spent many other relaxing times at my home.
Years ago he and I would spend Monday nights at the old Damon’s in Grand Haven watching Monday night football and having dinner. It was fun for us to get out of our houses even if for just a small amount of time. I cherished those moments.
I could go on and on about Dan but I the thing that stands out is he always made time for others and that is what made him such a great friend.
You will be missed and thought of often and I look forward to seeing you again some day.
My heart goes out to Diane and all the kids and grandkids. His legacy will live on through you!
