I met Dan working as an outside contractor at SPI and just found out today of his passing. I was deeply saddened to hear of his passing, but know that he is now enjoying a better life with his Lord. Dan always like to chat when I did work at SPI and our faith walk was always a common topic. I have been praying for Dan and his family since I learned of his cancer. Please know how much I will miss seeing him and that I will continue to hold all of you in my prayers during this time of loss

My very first day at The Journey, he came up to me and asked if it was my first time... I looked a bit lost. I came all by myself to check it out. He grasped my hand and said, "Welcome home." That has stuck with me for years. Sunday, our first day in the new North site, Pastor Lowell said to us.. "Welcome home." Finding out Dan had passed that morning, I was sure those words were meant for him. Home in the arms of Jesus. Praying for peace and comfort for The Crouse family.
