Daniel Joseph Dykema II's Obituary
Mr. Daniel Joseph Dykema II, age 33, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, June 19, 2020. He was born in Muskegon on December 25, 1986 to Daniel and Judy (Farnquist) Dykema. Danny graduated from Mona Shores High School, class of 2005. He enjoyed anything outdoors, especially gardening, hiking, fishing, and photography. Danny loved animals and had a special place in his heart for rescuing them. He will be missed and lovingly remembered by his parents, Daniel and Judy Dykema; two sisters, Mindy (Tom) Homan and Tiffany Dykema; two nieces, Madison and Morgan; one nephew, Jaden; special friend, Wade Holman; two grandmas, Ida Larabee and Phoebe Dykema; many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his faithful dogs, Bentley and Bindi. He was preceded in death by three grandparents, Fred and Shirley Dykema and Eugene Larabee. According to concerns with social distancing, a MEMORIAL VISITATION will be held from 6-8 PM Thursday, June 25, 2020 outside at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444. A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Danny will be held 1:00 PM Friday, June 26, 2020 outside at The Lee Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Danny may be directed to Noah Project.
