I am truly sorry for your loss. Death is an enemy, causing much pain and sorrow to loved ones. It is my hope that this family is able to find comfort from the bible's message of hope. (John 5:28, 29; Revelation 21:3-5)

Dad "did it right". He is the example of how to be a real man. Unselfish, dedicated, loyal, focused, and serving his wife with a passion.
James 3:13 talks about "wisdom" which is having the ability to see life from Gods perspective. Verse 13 defines my dad ".....Let him show it by his good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom".
We also know he's in heaven, as he had a personal relationship with God. As kids, he created an environment where tim, Kris and I could learn about being a Christian. He wisely "lead us to discovery", rather than mandating it.

Dan has been my dear brother-in-law for over 55 years. What I know for sure is that the main comfort we have, is that he is with Cheryl again and together, they are with the Lord.
I also know that every conversation we had involved talking about his children and grandchildren. Tim & Becci, Jerry & Lori, Krys and all the grandchildren were an important focus in his life. This is a beautiful, close family and this loss will be felt until they all meet again in heaven.
My heart and love are with all members of the family and friends.
Love, Phyllis
