Daniel J. Mastee's Obituary
Daniel Joseph Mastee, a lifelong resident of Muskegon, passed away very unexpectedly in his sleep on August 6, 2020. He was 50 years old. Dan loved his guns, knives, brewing beer and mead, and hanging out with his friends who liked the same things. He had a lot of survival knowledge that he never had a chance to put into practice. Dan had a degree in recreational therapy, but his favorite job was a computer tech. He had a knack of explaining things to customers in a way that made them understand what needed to be done. On July 10th, 1999 he married Jennifer Slater and they had two children, Alison and Ian. He is survived also by his mother Nancy (Thomas) Mastee. His father, Theodore (Ted) Mastee preceded him in death. Due to corona virus restrictions a funeral service will not be held. A memorial service will be held at a later date when we are able to gather together again. Memorial Contributions in Daniel’s honor can be directed to the family for his children’s education. Arrangements entrusted to The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 737 E. Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442. Please share memories with the family’s at www.sytsemafh.com.
