Daniel W. Ream's Obituary
Daniel “Dan” William Ream, age 55, passed away, of natural causes, Wednesday, December 2, 2015. He was born on July 16, 1960 to Donald and Pearl (Bluhm) Ream in Muskegon. Dan was a loving father, brother, uncle, and friend. Dan was a retired lead work supervisor for 20 years at Acemco Inc. To many, Dan, was known as “Daddy Dan” due to his willingness to provide encouragement, support, and advice to everyone. Dan enjoyed spending his summers at the cottage on Torch Lake and his winters in the home he grew up in, in Muskegon. In his spare time, Dan enjoyed playing Farmville 2, watching SVU, NCIS, and spending time with his daughter and family. Everyone that knew Dan, knew he was an honest man who wanted to have fun. He enjoyed being around people, but also loved his solitude. Dan had a very gentle spirit with a dry, sarcastic, patient, honest sense of humor that you never knew was coming. Dan is survived by his daughter, Dawn Ream; brother, Ronn Ream; and sister, Tara Ream. The family wishes to not have flowers, but instead to give money so that his daughter may split it in his honor to Pound Buddies, where he received his beloved dog Freedom, and to preserve Torch Lake. A memorial gathering for Dan will be held at Hope Reformed Church, 1878 Evanston Ave, at 3:00 pm on Sunday, December 6th, luncheon to follow. Feel free to share a memory with the family at www.sytsemafh.com. Arrangements entrusted to The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231-798-1100).
