Daniel C. Andrews' Obituary
Mr. Daniel C. “Dan” Andrews, age 64, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2004. He was born March 24, 1940 in Painesdale, MI to Clyde and Mary (Crowley) Andrews and lived in the Muskegon area most of his life. He worked as an optician for House of Vision for 10 years before retirement. He was an avid Detroit Tigers and Red Wings Fan. He was also a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. On July 30, 1970, he married the former Elda L. Kessler in Muskegon and she survives him, along with 7 children, Lorrie (Ken) Johnson of Katy, TX, Dale (Loretta) Andrews of Green River, WY, Mark (Bobbie) Jackson of Edon, OH, Debra (Michael) Garbett of Evanston, WY, Darren (Mikole) Andrews of Idaho Falls, ID, Brian (Brandi) Andrews of Muskegon, Traci (Bill) Gue of Kansas City, MO; 15 grandchildren, Nicole (& husband, Joel), Brandon, Demarcus, Nicholas, Christopher, Megan, Kara, Valerie, Randi, Dallas, Christian, Tyler, Dylan, Alexander, Nathan; his mother-in-law, Gladys Kessler of Muskegon; 1 sister, Dena (Robert) Reese of Barstow, CA; 2 aunts, Doris (Jack) Vroman of Florida and Genevieve Spheer of Houghton, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 1 grandson, Derek Livensparger. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, May 8, 2004 at the First Church of the Nazarene (1150 Seminole Rd.).
