Daniel Edward (Wilkinson) Petyanus' Obituary
Dan passed away January 3, 2009 at his home. He was born November 26, 1950 to Lynn & Lillian Wilkinson in Muskegon, MI. After his father’s passing he was adopted by Gordon Petyanus. Dan was employed by General Telephone Company and retired as a cable splicer from Verizon, after 30 years of service. Dan is survived by his sisters, Judy (Al) Hubbell of Muskegon, Mary Lynne (Ron) Hartsema of Raleigh, NC and Ruthanne (Gene) Tietsort of Muskegon; his nephews, Scott Hartsema (deceased), Rick (Elisa) Hubbell of New Johnsonville, TN, Mark (Anne) Tietsort of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Doug (Ginny) Hartsema of Charlotte, NC, David (Suzanne) Tietsort of Fennville, MI and by his nieces, Chris Karnitz of DeSoto, KS and Nancy Hartsema Shores and Barry of Greensboro, NC. Dan was preceded in death by his father, Lynn on May 31, 1956, his mother, Lillian on March 2, 1982 and by his step-father, Gordon on December 17, 1982. Dan’s family would like to thank the Beck Family for all their love and care of Dan. There will be no visitation or services at this time.
