Daniel Martin Carr's Obituary
Mr. Daniel Martin Carr, age 76, died Sunday, April 25, 2010 in Muskegon. He was born in Muskegon on March 17, 1934 to Martin and Alma (Hammond) Carr and was a life resident of the area. Mr. Carr was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a self employed mechanical engineer and in his later years pursued his passion: building and repairing violins and stringed instruments. Many of his instruments were donated to the North Muskegon Public Schools. Dan loved creating, developing and fixing things and enjoyed hunting and golf. He is survived by his 3 children, Kari de St. Germain, Jeff (Barbara) Carr and Kim (Michael) Cain; 5 grandchildren; 1 sister, Marva (William) Hazlett and 4 nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Patricia Carr. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at The Sytsema Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 with Rev. William Randall officiating.
