While I was not a close friend of Dan's, I am always saddened by the loss of a fellow Laker from our '70's vintage. We have lost too many of our friends already at far too young an age to pass. To Dan's loved ones and friends, always remember that Dan will be alive forever in your memories of him and the times you had together. I hope you find solace in that.

I don't think there are words that can describe the love Joe and I had for our "best" friend. WHAT A MAN. The strength and courage he had, was and will always be, an inspiration to us. Our lives will be forever "different" without Dan physically here on earth,but I know that he will remain part of our lives forever,because he lives on in each of our hearts.
