Danny L. Tovey's Obituary
Mr. Danny L. Tovey, age 63, of Spring Lake passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Heartwood Lodge Hospice Residence. He was born March 28, 1954 in Grand Haven to Wayne and Patricia (Hammond) Tovey and graduated from Spring Lake High School in 1972. In 1994 he married Karin Moe in Grand Haven.
Danny was a member of UAW 113 and enjoyed anything and everything life had to offer. He was owner/operator of Power Equipment Sales & Service, Spring Lake, MI and retired from L3 Technologies, Muskegon, MI
He is survived by his wife, Karin; son, Ben Weavers (Christine) of O’Fallon, IL; father, Wayne Tovey; in-laws, Karl and Janet Moe; two brothers, Robert (Vicky) Tovey, and John Tovey; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Tovey.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Spring Lake Presbyterian Church with Rev. Daniel Anderson Officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church. Memorial contributions in memory of Danny maybe given to the American Diabetes Association.
