Darleen J. Clark's Obituary
Mrs. Darleen J. Clark, age 69, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, May 15, at her home. She was born August 28, 1943 to Lester B. and Catherine (Junion) Decent in Muskegon, and lived most of her life in this area. Darleen was self-employed as a housekeeper for 20 years, retiring in 1993, and she attended Prince of Peace Catholic Church. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed working in her yard, her angels and dolphins, and walking the beaches of Florida. SURVIVORS include her 4 children, Tammy Esslinger, Jane Heareth, Debra Matz, Marijo Johnson; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Robert and Rick Decent; 1 sister, Patricia Horton. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, 1 grandson, and 1 sister. In accordance with Darleen’s wishes, there will be no services. Contributions in memory of Darleen may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
