Darlene R. Beck's Obituary
Darlene R. Beck, age 77 of Grand Haven passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at Mercy Hospital. She was born November 11, 1938 in Muskegon to Leonard and Lena (Kunsman) Beck.
Darlene was a caregiver at heart and watched over many people in Grand Haven and in Chicago when she lived there years ago. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed collecting cookbooks, and doing needlework.
She is survived by good friends, Eileen Harnden, and Ruth (Larry) Horton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Lena; sister, Cheryl Pugh; brother, Gary Beck.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 21, 2016, at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven with Rev. John Brown officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions in memory of Darlene may be given to Harbor Humane Society.
