Mrs. Darlene Mae Boucher's Obituary
Mrs. Darlene Mae Boucher, age 76, passed away Monday, June 1, 2015 in Grand Haven. Mrs. Boucher was born May 14, 1939 to Charles C. and Lilian E. (Dahl) Stark, Sr. in Muskegon. On June 29, 1961 she married Louis M. Boucher. She has been a member of Dr. Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church since 1965, where she had served as a Sunday School teacher, sang in the choir, and was part of the Women’s Fellowship. Darlene was all about family; early on, she was a Cub Scout Den leader, and loved spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She also loved traveling and walking the boardwalk, or just being at the beach. Darlene enjoyed her time as a teacher’s aide for Hile and Ross Park Elementary Schools, where she was employed for almost 27 years. Darlene is SURVIVED by her husband of nearly 54 years, Louis; her children, Sheri Lou (Mike) Berge of N. Muskegon, Brion Charles (Pamela) Boucher of Norton Shores, Bradley Scott (Laura) Boucher of Peoria, AZ; daughter-in-law, Donna Boucher; grandchildren, L.A., D.J. and Michael Berge, Bryton and Alec Boucher, Natalie and Abby Boucher, and Louie Boucher; her brother, Charles “Chuck” (Susan) Stark and sister, Delores “Dee” (Chuck) King; two nieces, Dawn and Kim; and one nephew, “Chas”. She was preceded in death by her son, Louis Marcel “Buzz” Boucher Jr. and her parents. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 1PM Friday, June 5, 2015 at Dr. Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1860 E. Hile Rd. with Rev. Chris Anderson and Rev. Kenneth Michnay officiating. VISITATION will be from 5-8 PM Thursday at Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231 798-1100. Burial will take place in Norton Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Dr. Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church.
