Darlene Sue Heeres' Obituary
Darlene Sue Heeres, age 78, went to be with the Lord on April 6, 2017. Darlene was born on May 20, 1938 to Charles and Dorothy Cooper. Darlene graduated from the Hackley School of Nursing, worked as a Registered Nurse, and retired from Muskegon General Hospital. She was a member of Mona Shores Baptist Church. First in her life was always God and her family. She enjoyed taking care of her family with baking and gifts. She loved her friends, especially her birthday club. Darlene was a faithful, loving, caring, giving, honest, and occasionally feisty woman of God who will be deeply missed. She is survived by her children, Kevin (Sharon) Heeres, Mark (Beth) Heeres, Jennifer (Fred) McWain and David (Erika) Heeres; 10 grandchildren Krystal (Jeff) Barkley, Allison (Joshua) Ferguson, Whitney (Brice) Blossom, Jordan, Taylor, Ethan, and Erin Heeres, Chelsea, Leanne, and Christopher McWain; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first baby who died prior to birth, her parents; and sisters, Jacqueline Wolffis and Ardella Cooper. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 11AM on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Mona Shores Baptist Church 3800 Lake Harbor Rd. Memorial Contributions can be made to Mona Shores Baptist Church.
