Darlene D. Kidner's Obituary
Mrs. Darlene D. Kidner, age 73, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday morning, December 17, 2008 in Muskegon. She was born June 7, 1935 to Harold and Evelyn (Storms) Phinney in Muskegon, and was a life resident. Darlene worked in security for Teledyne Continental Motors, General Dynamics, and most recently L-3 Communications. She attended Lakeside United Methodist Church, and was very active in organizing the Angel Tree program at L-3. She was preceded in death by her husband William Rice in 1968. SURVIVORS include 3 children, Faye (Marc) Johnson of New Era, William J. “Bill” (Kris) Rice of Muskegon, Robert Rice of Wyoming, MI; 4 grandchildren, Avin, Brandon, Aubrey, and Michael; 5 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, William R. (Kay) Phinney of Atlanta, GA, Robert J. (Karen) Phinney of Orlando, FL, Harold L. Phinney of Muskegon. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Lakeside United Methodist Church, with Rev. David Selleck officiating. Burial will take place at Lakeside Cemetery. VISITATION at
