Darrel G. "Pudge" David's Obituary
Mr. Darrel G. “Pudge” David, age 60, died Saturday morning, November 20, 2004, at Hackley Hospital. He was born February 2, 1944 in Muskegon to Roy & Florence “Irene” (Schooley) David and had been a life resident of the area. “Pudge” was a machine operator at Dana Corporation for 39 years, prior to his illness. On July 3, 1965 he married the former Sandra Russell and she survives him along with 2 children, Debra (William Pierce) David and Darrel M. (Barbara) David of Muskegon; 2 grandchildren, Zachary & Sarah David; 1 brother, Ron (Marge) David of Florida; 3 sisters, Lucille “Tootie” (Ray) Rodgerson of Muskegon, Velma Strait of Oklahoma and Loretta David of Fruitport and by other family members, Fred & Barb Vaughn, Steve & Chelley Hommes, Wayne Russell, Dave & Marty Adams, Dolores David and Irma Russell along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother, David David and 1 sister, Leola Ash. You will honor “Pudge” by your “casual wear” attendance, at a CELEBRATION OF “PUDGE’S” LIFE, 2-5 PM Saturday, November 27, 2004 at Westwood Reformed Church, 3025 Glenside Blvd., Muskegon.
