David E. Adams' Obituary
Mr. David E. Adams, age 78, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at his home in Muskegon. He was born in Light, Arkansas on August 2, 1939 to Frank and Pearline (Lands) Adams. David was a veteran of the United States Army. He had been employed by Brunswick Corporation for 42 years prior to his retirement in 2001. David was a member of Sheridan Road Church of Christ. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, and spending time at “Hillbilly Heaven”. He was a devoted grandfather, supporting all of his grandkids activities, and will be remembered for his clean vehicles and “love for Armor All”. On July 9, 1965, David married the former Martha Blow in Muskegon, and she survives him along with two sons, Michael (Poppy) O’Conner and James (Jera) Adams; three grandchildren, Hayden and Shelbi Adams and Waylon Leohmann; brother, Larry (Sharman) Adams; special niece, Dusty Cahill; dear friends, Fred and Barb Vaughn and their children, Troy and Andrea; and many other loving family members and close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bobby Adams. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 3:00 PM Saturday, October 28, 2017 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100 with Rev. Robert Hodgman officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to his service. MEMORIALS in David’s memory may be made to Sheridan Road Church of Christ or Harbor Hospice Foundation.
