David James Botsford's Obituary
Mr. David J. Botsford, age 53, of Muskegon, died Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Mercy Health Hackley Campus. David was born on May 29, 1964 to James and Sharon (Boelter) Botsford. David was employed by Grand Haven Stamp Products for 20 years, serving as Union Official prior to his medical retirement. He loved spending time with his family, playing video games, watching his favorite movies, and fishing. He was a loyal Detroit Lions fan and avid sports fan. He is survived by his wife, Wanda; daughters, Heather (Aaron) Parker and Heidi (Drew) Dausman; grandchildren, Andrew, Eliana, Billy, and Max; mother, Sharon Lowing; father, James (Carol) Botsford; brothers, Jeff (Tammi) Botsford, Mike (Marcia) Lowing, Chris (Kathy) Lowing, Brian (Mary) Lowing; sisters, Kris (Tim) Felicioni and Tracy (Randy) Scott; father and mother-in-law, Edward and Judy Green; brothers-in-law, Scott Green and Edward (Pamela) Torrey ; sisters-in-law, Tammie (Thong) Nguyen, Lisa (Gary) Mahoney, and Teresa (Randy) Dilts; and many loving nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his step-father, Don Lowing and grandparents, Raymond and Marie Boelter and Millard and Laura Botsford. SERVICES will be 4:00 PM Saturday, January 27, 2018 at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave., 231-726-5210. VISITATION will be from 1-4 PM Saturday at the funeral home. MEMORIALS to David’s family to help defray funeral expenses would be appreciated.
