We remember Dave as a kind and funny friend. We met him through Bob Seeger. Dave was always so willing to help others. He was a very good friend to Bob and Faye Seeger and we met Dave through them. He was such an outgoing person who shared of himself with everyone. God speed, Dave. Mary (Seeger) Huizenga and daughter Kathleen Huizenga.

Jim Lay and I can never forget our epic trip to Lebanon and the Holy Lands with him. He was the consummate adventurer: full of enthusiasm, with a contagious laugh and so much fun to be with. So many or us will always remember the ways he enriched our lives just by being David.

Mr. Bringedahl was my Soc. teacher in the 80's and one of my favorites. He would share his stories and make history come alive for the sixty minutes we sat before him. Through my high school years, he was not only my teacher, but mentor and friend. He truly cared about his students and what we did in our day-to-day lives. Then, years later I followed in his footsteps by becoming a Fruitport teacher myself.
Dave was a wonderful, caring individual and my heart goes out to his family. Thanks for sharing Mr. B with Fruitport staff and students and letting us create forever memories! He was one of a kind!

I was so sorry to see Dave's obituary in the paper on line. We are traveling in Florida or would be there at the visitation.
