Mr. David Lee Burnham Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. David Lee Burnham, age 77, passed away Thursday morning, January 22, 2015. Dave was born February 23, 1937 in Coldwater, MI. His parents; Hale and Althena (Skinner) Burnham preceded David in death. He served his country in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Holton American Legion Post 397. Dave had worked as an electrician at Mercy Hospital for 20 years prior to his retirement in 1985. He loved hunting and visiting with friends and family. David is survived by his children, David Lee Burnham, Jr. of Spring Lake, Lori Kay (Mike) Lingo of Brighton, MI, and Meri Sue Fortenbacher of Norton Shores; 6 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 1:00 PM Monday, January 26, 2015 at Twin Lake United Methodist Church (5940 Main St.) with Rev. John Morse officiating and Full Military Rites afforded under the auspices of the Holton American Legion Post 397. Visitation will be held from Noon until 1 PM. Memorial Contributions may be made to Twin Lake United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Twin Lake Cemetery.
