Mr. David Lee Colon's Obituary
Mr. David Lee Colon, age 56, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2012 in Bay City, TX. He was born December 29, 1955 in Manhattan, NY to Rudolfo and Pearl (King) Colon and lived in the Muskegon area most of his life before moving to Markham in 2004. David worked as a chef for 25 years in area restaurants, including Raquets Sports Lounge, Arby’s and Wendy’s Restaurants. He was a former member of Shiloh Tabernacle where he volunteered for numerous events. SURVIVORS include 3 children, Maria Colon of Muskegon Heights, Christopher Casiano and Angela Casiano of Muskegon; 1 granddaughter, Jillian; 3 brothers, Joseph Sanchez, Rudolfo Colon, Lawrence Colon; several nieces and nephews; and friend and former spouse, Cheryl Colon. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 sisters, Maria Ridley and Dorothy Dixson. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at The Walburn Chapel, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., (231) 759-8565, with Pastor Vern Wright officiating. INTERMENT will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
