I was sorry to hear of Dave's death last week. He was my first boss when I worked for him for four summers between 1973 and 1976 trimming the Christmas trees. I still talk about those days, especially the hot, humid workdays and the occasional snakes hanging in the trees, as well as the stops at the Hilltop Bakery at the end of the season. He was a good guy. My prayers and good wishes for all the members of his family.
