David Leroy “Speedy” Gonzales, age 71, passed away at home on August 3, 2023. He was born on August 1, 1952, to Jesse and Phyllis (Fick) Gonzales in Muskegon. David enjoyed movies and playing the lottery. SURVIVORS include 3 children, Tracy Wilmoth, David Gonzales Jr., and Stacy Gonzales; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Anita Gonzales, Tina Speece and Linda Gandy. David was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jesse Gonzales and sister, Rita Gonzales. A CELEBRATION OF LIFE VISITATION will take place 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 737 Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442.
