David Charles Knapp's Obituary
David Charles Knapp age 66, of Ravenna, MI. died Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Mercy General Health-Mercy Campus surrounded by his family. Dave was born on November 2, 1955 in Muskegon, Michigan to the late Charles D. and Lois E. (Baranowski) Knapp. He served in the United States Marine Corps in the Vietnam Era. He married Anita Rhea (Fox) Knapp on October 2, 1976 in Wolf Lake. Dave is survived by his wife of 45 years: Anita R. Knapp of Ravenna, 1 Daughter: April (Ed) Hathaway of Grant. 2 Sons: Charlie (Jodi) Knapp, and Mike (Erica) Kaffenberger both of Spring Lake. 12 Grandchildren. 3 Brothers: Richard (Judy) Knapp of Ravenna, Tim (Patti) Knapp of N. Musk and Tom (Deb) Knapp of Ill. Brother In-law: Larry Lieffers of Ravenna. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 Sisters: Vicki Lieffers and Pam Washburn. A Memorial Service will be conducted on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 11:00am at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna with Pastors Spike & Romanosky. The Ravenna American Legion Honor Guard will do Military Honors following the service. The family will greet friends 1 hour prior to service. Memorials may be directed to: Muskegon Veterans.
