Dear Meints Family and His lovely Fiance' Colleene, I am so sorry to hear of Dave"s passing. He was a great guy and a gentle soul and a pleasure to be around. I loved the winter Dave and Colleene spent with me, Dave turned my cat into a dog. She followed him everywhere just like a little puppy, wherever he was and whatever he did she was right there with him. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time. Sandy (King) Dixon
Luanne, Robb and family, I was so sorry to hear of Dave's passing at such a young age. Most of my memories of Dave and Robb were from the Comstock ball park and LIttle League, then high school football and also living next door to your Grandma and Grandpa Eager. My sincere condolences to you all, may the Lord bless you and keep you, Jerry Ann (Goodacre) Dombrowski
Colleen, Rob, Luanne, Meredith, Sam & Nick,
We were so very sad to just learn of Dave’s passing. Even though we lived in GH, we first met Dave and his wonderful family at Big Bass Lake. Meeting you and sharing in many great memories (egg sandwiches at 3 AM, Dave “ordering” Sam & Nick to dig a hole; then fill it up, Mere and our kids tubing, Dave loading all the kids in the back of his pickup for ice cream, Jack Daniels & vegetable juice from his Dad Bob, etc. etc.); were some of the rewards through meeting Dave. We thank God he came into our lives !! He was a caring, thoughtful, fun loving gentleman – who truly enjoyed life. May all of your many fond memories comfort you in the days ahead. Rest in Peace friend !!

Bill and I were so sorry to hear of Dave's death. My parents, Bob and Helen Hood had so much fun with him when he lived across the street from them at Charles Ct, especially the blizzard parties. Our condolences to the family. Bill and Laura Viening

Gene and I were so sorry to hear about Dave. The last time I spoke to him he was ready for the fight. Dave was one of the nicest guys when we were in high school and continued to be. On the day of my Dad's funeral we were at the legion for the ceremony and toast he made his way over to tell me how sorry he was and that I should be proud that my Dad served and was honored. It meant so much me. That was Dave...proud and honorable. He will be missed. Jill and Gene (Voshel) Roberts
LuAnn, Robb, and families,

Robb, Colleen, Merdeth, Sam and Nick I am so sorry for your loss. Dave was a warrior as a Marine, and a stud as a football player but more importantly to me he was the kindest and most generous man I have ever known. In the 46 years I knew Dave I NEVER heard a cross word uttered about him. Who else can claim that. Boy, we sure had some lively times.

Dave and Colleen were our backyard neighbors on Grand Avenue/Ottawa Avenue. Dave and I would chat regularly over the fence as our dogs Izzy and Tilly played, usually tearing up Dave's yard. What a nice guy Dave was! He was solid and devoted to his family. It was sad when he and Colleen moved up to the lake cottage, and it is doubly sad that he is now passed on. May he rest in peace.

Luanne, Robby and your families - Please accept our deepest sympathy in the loss of my cousin Dave. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this hard time. A couple of memories about Dave were the time our family visited yours at Lake Gogegic (spell?) in the UP and a time when we came to a football game to watch Dave and Robb play.
