David L. "Dave" Paulsen's Obituary
Dave Paulsen passed away on December 31, 2022, at the age of 70. Dave was a retired business owner who concluded his professional career on December 20th, 2019. He made many friends and acquaintances during his work career. Dave was passionate about running, hiking, riding his bicycles, cross-country and downhill skiing, bird hunting, kayaking, and rowing his scull. He particularly enjoyed hiking through the dunes at Hoffmaster State Park with his dogs. He has slipped into the vapors of time and space after a lifetime of adventures and personal fulfillment.
Survivors include his loving wife Rica; stepdaughter Ryan Dove and her husband Nick, along with grandchildren Amelia and Dominick Dove, who he loved dearly. He is also survived by sisters, Nancy Hilliard, Julie Hellberg and her husband Gordon, and Laurie Ulrich and her husband Steve. He was preceded in death by his parents Max and Mickey Paulsen and brother-in-law, Rob Hilliard.
As per Dave’s wishes, there will be no service. A private family gathering will take place at a later date. Please consider a donation to Pound Buddies or the Earth Liberation Front, in his name.
