David Glenn Quillin's Obituary
David Glenn Quillin, age 74, passed away Friday morning, December 31, 2021. He was born February 4, 1947 in Union City, TN to Milton and Wavery (Bennett) Quillin. David was a 1965 graduate of Orchard View High School and for 20 years owned and operated Quillin Builders in Muskegon. He then started Little Fox Campers; tear drop shaped aluminum trailers built from scratch. David loved spending time with his grandkids, building, gardening with his sister, fishing, and flying RC airplanes. On October 19, 1968, he married Sheila L. Terryn in Muskegon and she survives him along with 2 children: Becky (Joseph) Finkler and Greg Quillin both of Muskegon; 4 grandchildren: Hannah and Hunter Finkler, and Chase and Alyssa Quillin; 3 brothers-in-law: Allen Stever, Raymond (Barb) Terryn, and Roger Terryn; 2 sisters-in-law: Marlene Gilland and Carol Bush; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Lou Stever; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sharon (Wayne) Horton; sister-in-law, Aud Terryn; and 2 brothers-in-law: James Bush and Joseph Gilland. A memorial service for David will be held 2:30 PM Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 737 Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442 (231) 726-5210. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in Egelston Twp. Cemetery. Contributions to his grandchildren’s college funds will be appreciated.
