David Charles Reynolds' Obituary
Mr. David Charles Reynolds, age 80, passed away peacefully at his home on White Lake on Thursday, August 20, 2020 with his family by his side. He was born in Muskegon on August 25, 1939 to Gordon and Barbara (Deeley) Reynolds. David graduated from Michigan State University and remained a proud and loyal supporter of the university. He started his career in 1962 with IBM (Lansing) and in 1976 transferred to Sealed Power where he accepted a position as Director of Data Processing. He retired from SPX Corporation as the President of the Replacement Division. Upon retirement, David, along with his brother-in-law, purchased Integrity Trailers in Nunica and owned and operated that until his second retirement. He was an active member of First Presbyterian Church and served on the Governing Finance Board. David will be remembered for being a great husband, father, and grandfather. He loved collecting vintage and classic cars. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at his home on White Lake. On October 6, 1962, David married the former Norma L. Schneider in Muskegon and she survives him along with two children, Lisa (John) Maskell and Steven (Julie) Reynolds; six grandchildren, Caitlyn, Conner, Lydia, and Emma Maskell and Parker and Isabelle Reynolds; four sisters, Barbara Jeanne Holden, Pamela (Fox) Garabedian, Deborah (Michael) Collett, and JoAnn (Fred) Avalos; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. David was preceded in death by an infant son, Lance William Reynolds; his parents; and brother, Paul Reynolds.
