Mr. David Paul Rowe's Obituary
Mr. David Paul Rowe, age 59, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2014. He was born December 18, 1954 in Muskegon to Raymond and Betty (St. Amour) Rowe. David was a graduate of Orchard View High School and had been employed by Muskegon Aluminum and Bronze for 20 years and by Michigan Steel for 8 years. Mr. Rowe loved his grandkids, loved to fish, hunt, bowl, swim, and was a huge NASCAR fan. On June 18, 1976 he married the former Helen Cook in Muskegon and she survives him along with 2 sons, Dwayne Rowe, Raymond Rowe both of Muskegon; 6 grandchildren, Kale Pastor-Rowe, Sofea, Nicholas, Mariah, and Leea Rowe, step-granddaughter, Jonaya Snowden; mother, Betty (Sherwood “Jerry”)Durgan of Muskegon; brother, Brian (Millie) Rowe of Muskegon; 3 step brothers, Steve (Nancy) Durgan, Dave (Sarah) Durgan, Dan (Marilyn) Durgan; 3 sisters, Sharon (Michael) Barnhardt of Muskegon, Joice Masunas of Branch, Rita (Joe) Holub of Norton Shores; and step-sister, Cindy (Mitch) Molyneux. David was preceded in death by his son, Lee Alan Rowe; father, Raymond J. Rowe; 2 brothers, Edward J. Rowe and Richard Rowe; sister, Nancy McClary; and his brother-in-law, Curtis Masunas. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Thursday at The Walburn Chapel, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., (231) 759-8565, with Dr. Zawdie Abiade officiating. Burial will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service. Donations to the family to help defray funeral expenses will be appreciated.
