Mr. David A. Seagraves' Obituary
David Seagraves, age 67, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at the Poppen Residence. He was born April 18, 1948 to James and Jean Seagraves in Muskegon. David was a proud U.S. Army Veteran, where he served his country in Vietnam. After returning home from the service he reconnected with and married the love of his life, the former Louise Haggerty, on May 29, 1970 and they spent 45 happy years together. He loved spending time with his grandkids, playing pool, watching collegiate basketball and cheering for the Detroit Tigers. David is survived by his wife, Louise Seagraves; sons, Don Seagraves and Jeffrey (Jamie) Seagraves; grandchildren, Madeline Seagraves and Brody Seagraves; brother, Kevin (Rose) Seagraves; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A MEMORIAL SERVICE for David will be held at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231-798-1100) on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be held an hour prior to services at the funeral home.
