Mr. David Brian Sidock's Obituary
Mr. David Brian Sidock I , age 59, passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning August 22, 2018 after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born June 25, 1959 to Frank and Judith (Holloway) Sidock in Muskegon, and was a lifelong resident. Dave retired from Arconic/Howmet after 38 years. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was a masterful provider to his family and those he loved. He enjoyed creating meals, and especially eating them. He also enjoyed fine wine and German beer. He enjoyed traveling and Italy was his favorite destination. On September 6, 1997 he married Susan Marie Williams, and she survives him along with 3 sons: David (Liberty), Noah (Amanda), Jonah (Erin); 8 grandchildren: Alec, Kayden, CaLee, Judah, Laney, Brantley, Ruby, and Asher; siblings Frank (Walter Holmes) Sidock, Patti Sidock, Sandra (Craig) Traxler; his step-father: James Davenport, and nieces Amber and Lindsie. He was preceded in death by his mother and father. The funeral service will be Friday, August 24, at 11:00 AM at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service. A private family graveside service will be held at Laketon Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please consider contributions in memory of Mr. Sidock to Harbor Hospice.
