Mr. David Alexander Somers' Obituary
Mr. David Alexander Somers, age 50, passed away January 6, 2018. David was born November 19, 1967 in Muskegon to Keith and Shirley (Rambo) Somers, Sr. David graduated from Reeths Puffer High School in 1985. Throughout the years, David had worked with 4 seasons and Pioneer Home Improvement, Banner Linen and Apparelmaster. In Kaleva, he helped organize the softball leagues and was also in charge of the Kaleva softball fields. David enjoyed baseball, softball, hunting, snowmobiling, camping, and off roading. Earlier on in his life, He enjoyed little league, the Fifth Reformed Cadet Program, horseback riding, rodeo, and bull riding. Most of all, David loved his family and is survived by his daughter, Shelbi Somers of Norton Shores; his parents, Keith and Shirley Somers, Sr.; Shelbi’s mother, Kelly Somers; his brothers, Keith Somers, Jr. of Twin Lake, Michael John Somers of Manistee, and Anthony (Judy Wierengo) Somers of N. Muskegon; his sisters, Christine Marie Piper of Twin Lake and Barbara Ann (Gary) Waybill of Haines City, FL; and many nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his wife, Lisa. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 3 pm Monday, January 15, 2018 at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave, 231 726 -5210 with Pastor Mark Green officiating.
