Mr. David C. Stauter Jr.'s Obituary
Mr. David C. Stauter, Jr., age 53, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2013 in Muskegon. He was born in Muskegon on November 19, 1959 to David C. and Elaine A. (Fletcher) Stauter, Sr. and was a life resident of the area. After graduating from Muskegon Catholic Central in 1977, David joined the United States Navy. He was an EMT and a truck driver before his retirement in 2010. David loved gardening, wood working, NASCAR, and decorating his yard for the holidays. He enjoyed learning about history, especially the Civil War, and was active in the community. He is survived by his 4 children, Josh (Amber) Davis, Richard (Brandy) Stauter, Joseph Stauter, Jennifer Stauter; 4 grandchildren; his significant other, Wanda Denton; his mother, Elaine A. Stauter; 1 brother, William (Lynne) Stauter; 1 sister, Delaina Peters and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, July 27, 2013 at St. Mark Lutheran Church (4475 Henry St.) with Rev. Mark Gilson officiating. A PRIVATE BURIAL with Military Rites under the Muskegon County Council will be in Nunica Cemetery.
