David W. Tejchma's Obituary
David W. Tejchma, age 67, passed away at home surrounded by his family on June 10, 2023. He was born on April 6, 1956, to Walter and Lucille (Bethke) Tejchma in Grand Haven. Dave worked as a self-employed carpenter. He enjoyed his family, bowling, golfing, camping and go-kart racing with his grandchildren. On October 29, 1977, he married, Sherry Thomas in Muskegon and she survives him along with two daughters, Ashley (Alex) Herbert and Shana Johnson; four grandchildren, Berchel Johnson, Ali Herbert, Marcie Johnson and Drew Herbert; brothers, Ray Tejchma and Paul Tejchma; sisters, Carol Tejchma and Ronda Tejchma. Dave was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jeannie. There will be a Celebration of Life for Dave on Saturday, June 24th from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 6289 Middle Lake Road. Twin Lake, MI 49457. Burial will take place at Pine Hill cemetery in Fruitport. Share memories with the family at www.sytsemafh.com.
