David L. Wilbur Sr's Obituary
Mr. David L. “Dave” Wilbur Sr passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 28, 2021 in Muskegon. He was born in Monterey, CA on July 14, 1953 to Charles and Sally (Vanderzyl) Wilbur. Dave’s family moved to Muskegon when he was an infant and remained in the area his entire life. On October 7, 1972, Dave married his high school sweetheart, Pam Brink in Muskegon. Together they raised five children and spent 49 wonderful years together. Dave was a hardworking man, retiring from Knoll Furniture. He constantly stayed active hunting, fishing, camping, golfing, playing softball, and enjoyed watching NASCAR. Most importantly, was the time spent with his family. Dave loved being around his children and grandchildren and will be remembered as a caring and loving husband, father, and Papa by his wife, Pam; children, Chantele (Randy) Lawson, Stacey Wilbur, Stephanie Wilbur (Shannon Obradovich), David (Nikki) Wilbur Jr, and Devon Wilbur (Jon Felker); grandchildren, Kyle, Jordan, Tyler and Emma, Sydney, Alexa and Izabel, Madison, Tenley and Owen, and Braisly and Bryson; siblings, Don (Barb) Wilbur, Bruce Wilbur, Vickie Wilbur and Kelly (Buck) Berg; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Chuck Wilbur. A MEMORIAL VISITATION will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 from 3-6PM at The Lee Chapel Family Center of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444. Memorial contributions may be directed to Fruitport Conservation Club or Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
