David W. "Dave" Workman's Obituary
David W. “Dave” Workman, age 78, passed away at home on Sunday, February 2, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 1, 1946, to Simon and Willetta (Ritcheske) Workman Jr. in Muskegon, MI where he has been a lifelong resident. Dave was a proud veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a dedicated employee of Herman Miller, where he worked in various positions for numerous years. On December 24, 1999, he married the former Lora Knight in Muskegon. Together they cherished 25 years full of love and laughter. Dave was blessed with a green thumb, whether it was tending to his celery farm or maintaining his flower garden. He had a passion for nature and enjoyed feeding the birds or spending time in his green houses. Dave will be missed by many. He is survived by his wife, Lora Workman; three stepchildren; five step grandchildren; four step-greatgrandchildren; one brother, two sisters; and pup, Raisin. He was preceded in death by his parents, and dog, Booboo. Memorial Contributions in his honor can be directed to Heartland Hospice and the Alzheimer’s Associations.
