So many years ago a man that remains in my memory. His smile, attitude and view on life kept me alive. I don’t know Janet is still alive but I would love to write her just once to share some things she may not have known
Our condolences to you and the family. I can still see David's face while he lay at the BMT ward at the U of M Hospital. He always seemed calm and was happy with you around him. Meena and Sibu##imported-begin##Meena##imported-end##

I will always remember his love for "sports hats," and I will never forget the wonderful friendship we shared @ U of M hospital as my late daughter, Kelli, and David fought the good fight...we were brought together by the Lord because He knew the journey we were going to be faced with, which we now will travel together. David was blessed with a wonderful family. One day I hope you will be closer to your joy than you are to your pain! Love you...Valerie##imported-begin##Valerie Vintes Weatherly##imported-end##

Dear Janet, Susan, and David,
I was so sorry that I was in Ohio and unable to attend Dave's funeral last week. As a colleague of his at Mona Shores High School for so many years, I will always remember his total dedication to his students and the DECA program. He was able to bring out the best in many students who never would have found their niche in high school had it not been for his belief and encouragement in them.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family--his legacy to the better future of this world.
With God's blessings and sympathy,
Sue Zack##imported-begin##Sue Zack##imported-end##
