David L. Miles' Obituary
Mr. David L. Miles, age 46, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2011 in Muskegon following a courageous battle with a year-long illness. He was born January 12, 1965 in Grand Haven, MI to Elmer and Martha “Marie” (Barrow) Miles and lived in the Muskegon area most of his life. He worked in maintenance and grounds for Lincoln Golf Club the past 5 years. SURVIVORS include his loving companion, Diane M. Estabrook of Whitehall and her children, Mary, Megan and Roger Estabrook, and her grandchildren, McKenna and Mason Shalifoe; his mother, Marie Miles of West Olive; 1 brother, Earl (Sally) Miles of Grand Junction; 2 sisters, Marje (Dale) Dick of Holland, Dianna (Jim) Shull of Charlevoix; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. David was preceded in death by his father, Elmer and his sister, Mary McPherson. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 2:00 PM Monday, June 6, 2011 at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey Street (231) 798-1100 with Pastor Gary Reiss officiating. VISITATION will be held one hour prior to the service, 1-2 PM Monday. INTERMENT will take place in West Olive Cemetery.
