David L. "Festus" Pulsifer's Obituary
Mr. David L. “Festus” Pulsifer, age 50, died at his home Thursday morning, June 3, 2004. He was born September 25, 1953, in Muskegon, to Clyde & Maxine (Mosler) Pulsifer and had been a life resident. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran having served from 1972 – 77. Festus had been employed at Eagle Alloy prior to his illness and had previously been employed at the Hilton Casino, in Laughlin, NV. He attended Harbor Bible Church. On April 3, 1982 he married the former Wanda Duke and she survives him along with 3 daughters, Candy (Charlie) Alexander of Florida, Donna (Darrell) Pulsifer of Muskegon and Annette (Ron) Brown of White Cloud; 7 grandchildren, Jeremy and Sam Strong of Florida, Danin Miller and Brandon Abraham of Muskegon; Ronnie, Rusty and Erin Brown of White Cloud; 3 brothers, Larry (Margie) Pulsifer of Denver, CO, Bob (Hope) Pulsifer of Orange, CA and Russell Pulsifer; 1 sister, Wanda (Dave) Bazzette of Lansing, MI; many nieces and nephews. Festus was preceded in death by his parents; his grandson, Rodney Brown and 1 brother, Joseph. MEMORIAL SERVICES will be held 11 AM Saturday, June 12, 2004 at Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Avenue, Muskegon, MI 49442, (231-726-5210) with Rev. Norman Sidock officiating. You are also invited to a Fellowship Gathering at 1 PM at Wolf Lake Park; and asked to bring a dish to pass. MEMORIAL GIFTS to the Pulsifer Family will be appreciated.
