It was such a shock for me to find out that my grandfather passed away. I wish I could have seen him to say good-bye but everyone wants to think that it was best for me to remember him the way he was. I hope that he is resting in peace. I am also so greatful for the few times he got to see my son and the picture I have of him with my son. I am going to miss my grandfather. May he rest in peace. Myrna and family,

Words cannot explain my surprise and grief upon reading about your David in the morning paper. He is going to be missed, greatly, by all of you. His mother, Rachel (Jones) Griswold was a sister of my grandmother Leota Belle (Jones) Griffes. Even though David is my second cousin, he seemed much closer, because we always had such a great rapport. I will always remember Dave as a smart & sincere, honest & direct, loving & caring person with a great sense of humor. Myrna, I am so glad that we got reacquainted after so many years of being out of touch.
