Dawn Szymas' Obituary
Dawn Szymas, age 42, of Grand Haven passed away Thursday, January 10, 2008, at the Leila & Cyrus Poppen Hospice Residence in Muskegon. She was born April 6, 1965, in Chicago, IL, to Willard and Donna (Chizek) Graybill. Dawn married John Szymas on March 29, 1986, in Charleston, South Carolina.
Dawn was a member of the Grand Haven Eagles Aerie 925. She enjoyed cross stitching, playing cards, fishing, and music.
She will be forever loved and missed by her loving husband, John; her daughter, Robin, at home; two sons, Andrew Szymas of Charleston, SC, and Matthew Szymas, at home; her parents, Willard and Donna Graybill of Monks Corner, SC; father- and mother-in-law, Paul and Bea Rose of Grand Haven; father-in-law, Joe Szymas of Grand Haven; three sisters: Debra Turner of Charleston, SC, Tina Kirkland and Tara Graybill, both of Monks Corner, SC; and three sisters-in-law: Bette Jo (Ken) Chudy of Fruitport, Julie Johnson and Jeanne Smith, both of Grand Haven.
The service for Dawn will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 12, 2008, at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven with Rev. Josh Bytwerk officiating. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials to the family are appreciated.
