Dawna "Dawn" M. Wymer's Obituary
Dawna "Dawn" Mae Wymer, age 89 passed away peacefully on Friday, October 22, 2021. She was born on May 24, 1932, to Gordon and Hazel (Clark) Irwin in Marquette, MI. On October 31, 1950, she married Samuel Wymer, Jr., and they spent 60 years together until his passing in May of 2011.
She is survived by her nine children, two sons, Rodney (Val) Wymer, David Wymer, seven daughters, Nancy (Dave) Marsh, Shelly Morehead, Joanne (Steve) Bellinger, Carol Wymer, Robin (Tim) Wymer Theodore, Dianne (Tom Irwin) Wymer; she would always say how tough it was to cook for just two after all the kids were grown. She is also survived by dozens of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Samuel, and her loving daughter, Toni Wymer who passed on July 14, 2021.
A memorial service for Dawn will take place on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at 11:00 AM at The Living Water Bible Church (460 Wood St.). Burial will take place in Egelston Township Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to The Sytsema Chapel of The Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 737 E. Apple Ave. Muskegon, MI 49442. Donations can be made to the Dementia Society of America.
